Frequently asked questions

How do I connect my email?

Open JogMe and go to the Home screen. Tap "Get started" or "Connect your email" and we'll guide you through Google's sign-in process. We only request read-only access to your Gmail — we cannot send, delete, or modify your emails.

What email providers are supported?

Gmail and Google Workspace accounts are currently supported. We're working on adding Outlook and Microsoft 365 support soon.

Is my data safe?

Yes. We use Firebase Authentication to secure your account, Firestore security rules to protect your data, and AES-256-GCM encryption for all stored documents. We never store email content on our servers — only the dates and details we extract to create your reminders. For more details, see our How it works page.

How do I delete my account?

Open JogMe and go to the Manage tab, then tap "Delete account" and follow the confirmation steps. If you can't access the app, visit our Delete my data page for alternative instructions.

Why didn't JogMe find my renewal email?

We search for specific subject line patterns including terms like renewal, policy, expiry, MOT, road tax, and insurance. If your email uses unusual wording or formatting, we might miss it. You can always add reminders manually from the app by looking up your vehicle or company, or by scanning a document.

Is JogMe free?

Yes, JogMe is completely free. There are no ads, no premium tier, and no hidden costs.

How do I disconnect Gmail?

Open JogMe and go to the Manage tab, then tap "Disconnect Gmail" in the testing tools section. Alternatively, you can revoke JogMe's access directly from your Google account permissions page.
