1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using JogMe, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
2. The service
JogMe is a free reminder and deadline tracking app designed to help UK users keep track of renewal dates for vehicles, companies, insurance, passports, driving licences, and other documents.
JogMe is a reminder tool only. It does not provide financial, legal, or professional advice. You should always verify important deadlines independently and not rely solely on JogMe for time-critical obligations.
3. User accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
- One account per person. Do not create multiple accounts.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use JogMe for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its servers.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service.
- Abuse the government APIs accessed through JogMe (Companies House, DVLA, DVSA).
5. Data accuracy
JogMe retrieves deadline and renewal information from government APIs (DVLA, DVSA, Companies House) and from your email (if you connect Gmail). While we make every effort to ensure accuracy:
- Government API data may occasionally be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect.
- Email scanning may miss some renewal emails if they use unusual subject lines or formatting.
- OCR document scanning may not always extract dates correctly.
- Reminder dates are provided as a helpful guide. You should always verify important deadlines yourself.
Important
JogMe is a reminder tool, not a guarantee. Always verify critical deadlines independently. Missing a deadline because of incorrect or missing data in JogMe is your responsibility.
6. Gmail access
If you choose to connect your Gmail account:
- You grant JogMe read-only access to search for renewal-related emails.
- You can revoke this access at any time from the app or from your Google account settings.
- Gmail access is subject to Google's Terms of Service and API usage policies.

7. Intellectual property
The JogMe app, website, branding, and all associated content are the intellectual property of JogMe. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our content without prior written permission.
8. Third-party services
JogMe integrates with third-party services including:
- DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service and DVSA MOT History — UK Government APIs, subject to their respective terms of use.
- Companies House — UK Government API, subject to Companies House terms.
- Google Gmail API — subject to Google's Terms of Service and API Services User Data Policy.
- Firebase / Google Cloud — subject to Google Cloud Terms of Service.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or terms of these third-party services.
9. Limitation of liability
JogMe is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any missed deadlines, fines, penalties, or losses resulting from your use of or inability to use JogMe.
- We are not liable for incorrect, incomplete, or delayed data from government APIs or email scanning.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
- As JogMe is a free service, our maximum aggregate liability to you is zero (£0).
10. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time from the Manage tab in the app, or by contacting support@jogme.co.uk.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms or abuse the service.
- Upon termination, all your data will be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of JogMe after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of JogMe shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
